After much work on the part of the California Wine Industry, Mexico has dropped it’s 20% retaliatory tariff rate for US wines entering the country.

We at JBC International have received word that wine shipments are once again entering Mexico duty free-as set forth in NAFTA.

We recommend exercising caution, as Mexican officials continue proclaiming their right to re-impose the surtax at any time over these next few months.
